Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information VibeCheck ("we", "us", the "app") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using VibeCheck you agree to the practices described below.
Information we collect

Account data. When you create an account we store an anonymous device identifier and a username. If you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive the anonymized Apple user identifier Apple provides so you can restore your account on a new device. We do not receive your Apple password or email unless you explicitly share it.

Outfit photos. The outfit photos you choose to upload, along with the AI-generated style scores, battles, votes, and history those photos produce.

Purchase and subscription data. When you buy VibeCheck Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify and manage your subscription status. We receive subscription state (such as whether Pro is active and its expiration) and a RevenueCat customer identifier tied to your account. We never receive your full payment card details — those are handled solely by Apple.

Usage data. Basic, non-identifying app activity such as scores, streaks, and achievements you generate while using the app.
How we use your information

To create and maintain your account and let you restore it across devices.

To generate clothing-style ratings: outfit photos are sent to our AI provider solely to produce a style score, and are used to power your results, battles, and history within the app.

To run battles, leaderboards, votes, and achievements.

To unlock and manage VibeCheck Pro and keep your subscription status accurate.

To moderate uploaded content and keep the app safe.
What we never do

We never sell your data.

We never rate, describe, or comment on your body, face, or physical appearance.

We never share your photos publicly without an action you take (such as entering a battle).
Sharing with third parties
We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app: our AI provider (to score outfits), Apple (to process in-app purchases), and RevenueCat (to manage subscriptions). These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Data retention and your control
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account, which permanently removes your account, outfits, battles, votes, and stats from our systems. You can also reset your local account on a device from Settings. Subscription records held by Apple are governed by Apple's own policies.
Children's privacy
VibeCheck is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
